Is Claudio Bravo on his way to Man City?
The move spells the end of Joe Hart’s career at the Etihad Stadium, with the England number one reportedly being told by club hierarchy that it would be best if he left City during the current transfer window.
New boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper to replace Hart, having started the first two Premier League games of his reign with Willy Caballero.
And, speaking after Barcelona’s 6-2 victory over real Betis on Saturday evening, the Catalan club’s technical secretary Robert Fernandez admitted Bravo, beaten twice in the game, is on his way to the Premier League.
"We have the beginning of an agreement with Manchester City for Claudio Bravo,” said Fernandez.
"We are awaiting events this week. When Claudio leaves, we hope to have a new keeper."
